Rain in Singapore to recoerd F1 Rocks segment.

Rain has arrived in Singapore quietly and unnoticed where he will participate in the recording of a short segment for the F1 Rocks show, a music festival sideshow to the F1 Singapore Grand Prix which is taking place from 25 - 27th September.

The 3-day music festival begins tonight, 24th September and will continue on 25 - 26th September before the actual race on 27th September at Fort Canning Park. Rain touched down in Singapore on 23rd September at 5.15am and was seen in casual clothing and wearing a cap. Besides recording for F1 Rocks, Rain's hectic schedule also includes a visit to the Chinese and Japanese Gardens, an interview with F1 driver Mark Webber, Ninja Assassin promotions, etc.

As this was strictly a business trip, Rain will not be meeting his fans in Singapore and will be back in Seoul on the 24th.

[LATEST ON DBSK] Seoul District Court Rejected SM's Preservation of Evidence Cancellation Request

SM Entertainment (hereafter SM) filed a request to the court to cancel the submission of “preservation of evidence” application as being requested by TVXQ members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu, however, the request was rejected.

One of the litigants through a phone call with Money Star News on the 23rd said, “On last 18th, the court rejected SM’s cancellation request of evidence preservation. Claimant side’s, the three TVXQ members, preservation of evidence application is still up and will receive document submission related to earnings from SM.”

The Seoul Central District Court prosecutor explained the reason of the rejection, “The fact which has been drawn up is about legal relationship between the artists and their agency company, and in compliance with law of civil procedure article 2 section 344, the document holder side couldn’t refuse to submit the documents that become object of document submission order assertion from the complainants.”

On August 5th, Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu side submitted a preservation of evidence to the court to calculate the real income distribution of all TVXQ activities from SM Entertainment. The preservation of evidences demanded including accounting books, contracts, receipts, journals, and any relevant documents related to the income distribution calculation.

With the court rejection, seems that the document release by SM is now inevitable.

Currently both sides of SM and 3 TVXQ members has been waiting for the court decision after the first hearing on 21st last month.

It seems our beloved Kangin oppa (hyung to DennisArang!) is facing a dilemma. CCTV tapes has shown that Kangin was indeed involved in the fight BUT only as an act of self-defense. Kangin has apologized to the public and promise this will not happen in the future.Although that has been decided, Kangin will still have to attend the court hearing, seeing he has been charged with an act of violence.

Kangin oppa, please be strong. We love you and want you to return back to Super Junior with your happy self.

Hello, this is JYP.

For the past five days we have listened to what many people had to say regarding the Jaebeom incident. We have listened to the rebukes towards Jaebeom, the rebukes toward our company, and many of you telling us to give him another chance has been carefully heard.
We have carefully and thoroughly discussed what the next moves are regarding our company, the 2PM members, and Jaebeom. Jaebeom has been receiving many encouraging comments from many fans, but his feelings about his wrong doings has still not changed. He still feels sorry and embarrassed for what he did and is not able to perform on stage. Jaebeom has pleaded to not cancel 2PM's activities which was the result of the sweat, blood and tears of the other six members, just because of what he has done. He has said this is the reason why he must leave 2PM.
I also agree with Jaebeom. The reason why i have not held on to Jaebeom is because if we look towards the life ahead of him, this will not be a big matter that will effect his whole life. Many of you are worried that he has wasted four years of training towards his dream, but i believe that training has not gone to waste, because if he grabs this chance to mature as a person, Jaebeom will be able to fly better than ever.
I believe that as harmful the words that came from Jaebeom were, telling him to immediately leave the country was no better. I am going to respect his decision / wish of wanting to spend some time alone, off the stage and if and when the time comes that he tells me he is ready to come back on stage and perform, it is my duty / role to do everything in my power to help him with this wish. When that day comes, I believe that's when your encouragements and cheering will truly help him. I am once again truly sorry and apologize for not being able to thoroughly take care of my artists. I will do my best in making sure things like this never happen again.
I once again would like to thank all of you.

Interview with Jaebeom's friend's father.

I am a parent of someone that is close to Jaybum’s age. Watching what has been happening these past few days, I have built up some confidence to say a few words.

I have been business partners with Jaybum’s dad in Seattle and am a Korean-America who has been living here for 30 years. I have known Jaybum since he was a little kid and have watched him grow throughout the years. Also my kids have been going to school with him since pre-school and so they are quite close. Thus, I think I know a lot about Jaybum’s family.
Jaybum’s house in Seattle is near a beach called Edmonds and is in a prospective middle-class neighborhood. This house has been built for 40 years, but Jaybum has lived here ever since he was born for over 20 years.
In the parking lot aren’t BMW’s and Lexus’s, but rather there are cars that are about 5-10 years old. Just recently they just leased a car from Hyundai Dealershop for an Elantra, but after Jaybum’s situation, they had to return it.
In their house is a 37 inch Sony TV that has been there for 10 years. All the computers in their house are very old and about to break, and the best computer they have is a notebook that a fan had bought for Jaybum.
The reason i am telling you all this is because I wanted to show you how Jaybum’s family life style is not fake nor ostentatious, but rather humble and normal for a middle-class family.
After Jaybum came back from Korea, about 2 days later Jaybum’s dad told Jaybum that he should study music and went out and sweating from the weight of the it, bought and brought into the house a 15 year old electric Yamaha piano that was $300 just for Jaybum.
Without any complaint, Jaybum took and practiced with that piano,a nd thinking of how I bought my son a Roland piano for $5000 made me so embarassed.
On Friday night Jaybum’s dad and I got together to drink some beer and talk until 3AM, and all of a sudden tears dropped from his eyes and he began to share. He felt so bad for Jaybum.
For the past 5 years, no one knows how much Jaybum suffered from frustration and hard work, and so many times when he so much wanted to go back to Seattle, he always fixed his mindset and practiced for long hours, but now right as he gained so much popularity, he escaped to seattle in just 4 days, and that really breaks my heart.
Coming home from Korea, for those long hours on the plane, how much did he have to suffer and think in his mind?
In the beginning of August, I remember when Jaybum came to Seattle for a quick visit. Because Jaybum’s immature younger brother was not listening to him, I remember what Jaybum said to him.
“I want to go out and meet my friends like you and go out and have fun like you but do you know why I am going through all of this and working hard? Its because of you and our parents! Why can’t you be more thoughtful of what you do!”
In the car I asked my daughter who is the same age as Jaybum “Yuri! What does ‘Korea is gay’ mean?” “It means that Korea is stupid or annoying, we say it when we’re tired or annoyed”.
Even when my daughter and I fought when she went through her teenage years, she used the word ‘hate’ a lot. “Dad i hate you!” Just because she said that would i have to kick her out of the house?
During that time, I believe that Jaybum did not understand the Korean culture, and had a hard time adjusting, while the people who translated what Jaybum said on his myspace translated in a very wrong way because they don’t know that that is just how teenagers speak in America.
I don’t understand how what he wrote as a teenager has anything to do with betraying Korea in any way.
How can someone who really hated Korea work so hard for their family so they can live better lives?
Us Korean-American’s do not see America as a place just for money. We think of America as a new start where we have more opportunities, while our hearts are still with Korea and we want Korea to thrive.
During the 2002 World Cup instead of watching it at home my friends and I went to a sports bar and watched it in order to spread interest in Korea and soccer. When Korea put in a goal we alls screamed for joy and the American people who had no interest in Korean soccer seemed interested.
Even during the WBC, instead of watching the Major League we urged the Americans to watch Korea’s games and those poeple who have Nokia phones and not LG or Samsung, we went and talked to them on why they wouldn’t use a good Korean phone.
Don’t these little things show how much pride we have for Korea? Even more than the pride of those overseas, we feel like we have a lot of pride in our country. Because of what a teenager wrote 4 years ago, i don’t think that it was right to accuse and point fingers at Jaybum when he didn’t mean anything like that, and cause him to be kicked out of Korea. That is not called having pride in our country.
Everyone, I urge you all to take a step back and think of what has happened in the past week, and also i urge you to have a big heart and embrace our young Korean-American who is trying so hard to live out his life and give him another chance.
I am not asking for you to put out a red carpet for him, but all I ask is for you to help Jaybum not feel embarassed or guilty anymore, and instead helpp him think more comfortably and have a warm heart for him.
During these past few days when the netizens said biting remarks about Jaybum, I want to say thank you to Boom for standing up for him and being brave. Boom still calls Jaybum everyday to check up on how he is doing.
Right now, Jaybums parents are in panic mode, and do not pick up the phone if it not someone they know.
Jaybum visited his old breakdancing studio when a black kid recognized him and put a camera up to his face and so he had to hurry up and just go home.
He hasn’t even been able to go to the church he went to all his life because he’s still embarassed and guilty and disappointed in himself, so he hasn’t been going out anywhere and just been staying home.
Seeing all of this, i feel so bad for him and am heart broken.
Last saturday, my family and Jaybum’s family went to a friend’s chinese restaurant in order to brighten everyones mood. Although he wasn’t jumping for joy, being his first dinner outside since he came to Seattle, we had a good time and Jaybum’s mood got a little better and more comfortable.

I asked him “Jaybum, do you wanna go back to Korea?”
“yes..but i’m not sure.”

Kangin is taken by police to help in investigations.

Super Junior's Kangin was taken to Kangnam Police station for questioning in regards to the alleged assault charges for a fight at a bar on 16th September, at 3 in the morning.Kangin was reportedly drinking with an acquaintance when another 2 person started an argument with them which then led into a fist fight.

An SM representative revealed, ''Kangin has been involved in an incident involving assault.However, he was not involved in the actual assault,even though he was present. He is currently assisting in the investigations because he was an eye-witness.''

We at TMCE hopes that this will be settled soon and Kangin be cleared of any charges and continue with his career. TMCE LOVES KANGIN!!! Woots~~~

1. What is DBSK’s break up, and why did this break up news pop out? And are the news about DBSK true?

+ The words about DBSK breaking up came up as the news of the 3 members Jaejoong, YuChun, and Junsu filing a “Provisional disposition of suspending exclusive/ongoing contract” to the court came out. The breaking up rumors are just false rumors. The reason why the breakup rumors came out is because of the news of the members filing a suspension of the contract created more rumors amongst the fans. The most known false rumors flowing around from this were : The members not getting along, and the problems with SM Ent. and the member’s cosmetic line. A these rumors came out the break up rumors came out as well. The only real truth that are out about DBSK is the news about the members filing a suspension of contract. That’s the only one.

2. What is the deal with DBSK’s rumors about setting up a cosmetic company and the problems? What kind of relation does this have?

+ To tell the truth there is no relation with the cosmetic line and DBSK’s break up rumors. Of course the members that had filed the contract suspension were the ones that are opening the store, but the members are not the owners of the cosmetic company. They are just managing ONE store. The only thing the 3 members are responsible for is just ONE branch of the entire company. There were rumors about the members and the company in the past, and it seems to have been building up into false rumors. but the cosmetic line having relations to the reason of why the members have filed the contract suspensions are not true. These rumors are just what the people are assuming because they have no clue what is going on with what is true and what is not true. because of this reason, as long as there has not been a clear statement of confirmation, it is not true.

3. What is a “Provisional disposition of suspending exclusive contract” ? and What happens when this lawsuit is in action?

+ Simply, when you file a lawsuit of suspending a contract, you are basically putting a stop to the validity of the existing contract. An ongoing contract is basically saying that you will stay with the same company for a long time, but DBSK wants to fix the existing contract’s fishy areas and wants to express how the members wants to fix the contract and show what they want. That is it. This filing of lawsuit has nothing to do with DBSK members breaking up. And this lawsuit has nothing to do with who will be WINNING or LOSING. If this file gets passed and accepted then it just means that the existing contract will just lose the validity not that DBSK will leave SM Ent. and have DBSK break up.

4. On the re-contracting, there are talks that Yunho and Changmin have done a re-contract with SM Ent. is this true?

+ I don’t know where you heard this from, but this has never been confirmed formally and is just a false rumor. There has not even been a real news report of this rumor, and it’s JUST the 3 members filing a provisional disposition about the contract. Just because the 3 members have put out a provision doesn’t mean that just because only 3 members did that the other 2 made recontracts. These are just rumors. There were no talks or whatsoever about this. This is untrue.

5. How do we deal with all the false allegations, rumors, and articles that are still spreading?

+ To tell the truth, not all of us have the high tolerance and knowledge to be able to just pass and ignore all the news articles spreading over the internet and the on the search engines. And also the fact that not many of us have unlimited knowledge of how lawsuits work, of course many of us will panic over the news articles talking about the rumors as if they were facts, and about DBSK breaking up. In these kind of cases we just have to stay strong when seeing overly exaggerated articles and false articles. Because we Cassies are together with DBSK we have to show them. We can’t leave rude comments, and to not spread false rumors from reading false articles ourselves. We have to spread the right informations to the people and learn to gain the right information as well. We have to request posts about taking down false informations and post and scrap the articles that have been formally confirmed by sm.ent and from right sources.

6. Even though they are rumors, rumors have been proved true alot of the times. Are there anything out there that are actual facts?

+ As long as the rumors have not been formally confirmed there is no possible way that we can call it actual facts. But we are for sure that the only thing 3 members have done is that they filed a lawsuit to FIX the contract (edit it basically) regarding slave contract, the validity date of the contract, and unfair contract listings. And to do this they have right now put a hard stance by putting a suspension to the validity of the existing contract. A lot of people are saying that DBSK will just become the 2nd H.O.T. and S.E.S. but situation is very different. DBSK is not just top idols in Korea but also artists who are very influential outside of Korea. SM. Dnt is not a company that would kick out DBSK just because their artist put a lawsuit. Even if DBSK was to break up from Sm.ent, this does not mean that DBSK will break up. Many might be asking ‘ What does that mean?’ DBSK is also in contract with a ent. group AVEX in japan. The contract validity with AVEX ent. has not ended and also have contracted with 2 companies for 2 CFs. DBSK also will be participating in Japan’s A-Nation starting today and also on the 1st of August, 22,23,29,and 30.
If DBSK was to even break away from SM Ent, they will have to deal with damages for breach of contract with Avex. Thing will get dirty. There has been the same situation in Japan with a group called SMAP. Back then SMAP’s member Kimura takaya(?) had filed a lawsuit against his own company called Johnny’s ent. The company backed away and reedited the contract and after that all the rest of the idol groups from there follows the new contract. Back then everyone there said that Kimura was going to take off to a new company and be solo, and every year his group gets hit with false rumors of breaking up but they are still together to this day. Anyway again, we believe that it will be best if all you guys would stop making careless judgment about DBSK’s breakup rumors.

SO BASICALLY THE TO POINT IS THAT: DBSK’s members Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu, and Micky Yoochun have filed a lawsuit ” Provisional disposition of suspending exclusive/ongoing contract” based on the contract’s basic terms of conditions, 13 year of slave contract term conditions of money. The false and over exaggerated news reports are overflowing, and the rumors of the company having issues with the members company line and the members not getting along are false. Just because they filed a lawsuit does not mean they are breaking up. They are just filing a lawsuit to FIX the existing contract with SM Ent. They have filed a lawsuit because SM Ent. would not negotiate in talks with the members and they have tried many times. Because negotiations did not get through the members as artist have filed a lawsuit against their company. The only way. So it is best to not believe the false rumors and read false articles.

5-member group SS501 will have their first Asia tour after their debut.
The group will be opening the ”THE 1st ASIA TOUR PERSONA’ concert coming August in Seoul. And they will be performing in 10 cities, including Malaysia and Singapore.

Through their first Asia concert, the boys will shed their pretty boys image to show their dynamic and various different images. They will show themselves on the stage as real true musicians.
After releasing their official 2nd album in July, SS501 will be performing in 10 cities, starting from Seoul, they will move on to Japan, Taiwan, HongKong, Thailand, China, Malaysia and Singapore etc.
Their Japan Budokan performance will take place on 13th August.

So to all SS501 fans in Singapore, get ready to spend some money on the boys coz they're gona rock this tiny city!

TVXQ and actress Lee Yeon Hee will be featured in Super Junior’s 3rd album “Sorry Sorry” as participants.
TVXQ members U-Know Yunho and Micky Yoochun add rapping to the song “이별…넌 쉽니 (Heartbreak),” which completes the harmonic vocals of Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung.
Lee Yeon Hee, lead of movie “M,” will add vocals in the song “Club No.1.”
Super Junior’s title song “Sorry Sorry,” dance-pop styled “니가 좋은 이유 (Why I like you),” British pop song “앤젤라 (Angela),” oriental melodies meet trendy instruments “리셋 (Reset),” plus other songs make a total of 12 songs on the album.
In this album, Yoo Young Jin, Kenzie, Park Chang Hyun, Yoo Young Seok, and Cho Joon Young, some of the best composers, will contribute colorful high quality to the album.
Super Junior makes their comeback on March 13’s KBS 2TV “Music Bank” after one year and six months.

SM ARTISTES BANNED FROM KBS MUSIC BANK
DBSK was in Japan for the final 2 days of 2008 as they had to attend the TBS Japan Record Awards and the 59th Kohaku Uta Gassen 2008 respectively and thus couldn’t attend KBS and MBC gayo festivals. But in the process, there was a breakdown in communications between SM Entertainment and KBS resulting in Shinee, Super Junior, etc missing KBS Gayo Daechuk as well.
Competition was fierce to get singers to appear at the year-end gayo festivals for the 3 respective major broadcasters, SBS, KBS and MBC. KBS was probably incensed to see BoA and DBSK appearing at Festival S (SBS gayo festival) but not appearing at theirs. As a form of punishment, KBS has thus decided to prohibit SM artistes from appearing on Music Bank indefinitely.
The worst hit SM artistes at the moment must be So Nyeo Shi Dae who made their comeback recently with their Gee mini-album. They were originally scheduled to make a grand comeback on Music Bank on 9th January. But it was shelved at the very last moment on 8th January and the girls had to make their comeback a day later instead on Music Core. The girls are already handicapped by SM Entertainment problems with Mnet (rumors put it that it was because of DBSK failing to win major awards at MKMF) resulting in the no-shows on M! Countdown, leaving them with only Music Core and Inkigayo.
The ban was initially dismissed by SM Entertainment who said that the girls wanted more time to prepare and so their Music Bank comeback was delayed to 16th January. But it was strange that they would say that since it was only a day later before they would appear on Music Core. But fans didn’t make too much fuss over it since Shinee was on the 9th January episode of Music Bank. But after seeing Shinee and So Nyeo Shi Dae missing from the 16th January Music Bank lineup, the ban looks like it’s being enforced by KBS.
In an interview with a Music Bank PD, “Currently, SM Entertainment artistes are only barred from appearing on KBS Music Bank. It will not affect their appearances on other shows on the KBS network. The ban is indefinite.”
There were also talks that Tae Yeon of So Nyeo Shi Dae was actually considered by KBS to take over from the outgoing Seo In Young as the MC of Music Bank. But the ban effectively puts an end to that and announcer Park Eun Young will take over Seo In Young instead from today’s episode onwards.
